After the goals and embedded interventions have been developed, it is important to plan who will implement the interventions and under what conditions. For every embedded intervention identified, Jackie and Luke’s family need to reach consensus on who will implement it, when and where it will be implemented, and whether other children or adults will be included*. Using a Child Activity Matrix is a convenient way to visualize this plan and serves as a daily reminder to ensure embedded interventions occur.
To view an example, see Handout 1.11: Home Child Activity Matrix for Luke.
Now use what you have learned about embedded interventions to complete a Child Activity Matrix for use at school in Activity 1.14a.
